We enjoyed pizza at Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge (Buckley Mainland) in Williamstown, WV! We explored the Birds and Butterflies trail, dedicated to pollinators. Not many were out in April, but a giant T-Rex in a backyard definitely caught my eye! #teddythebunny#t-rex#ohioriverislands
The antique store in Williamstown, WV, had some really neat stuff and definitely a large variety of glass, including Fenton, but what really stood out to me was all the bunny stuff! Here are some photos of some of the cool bunny items I found there! #bunnystuff#fentonbunnies#antiqueshop
Just visited a gift shop that sparked memories of Fenton Art Glass, a US leader in handmade colored glass since 1905! My bunny, Fenton, is even named after them. Though glassmaking ceased in 2011, its legacy lives on, with a museum and incredible history. #fentonglass#teddythebunny
Remembering a delightful 2024 trip with Teddy! We stumbled upon Holl's Chocolate in Vienna, WV, and it was a dream. Seriously high-quality, authentic Swiss chocolates. You get a free sample, but trust me, you'll want the whole box! 🤤 #teddythebunny#viennaWV#chocolatelover#sweettreats
Grace is one of our permanent residents due to her heart condition and Teddy’s roommate. She loves stretching out on the comfy bed to take naps. I thought I’d bring them to the bed to hang out together. I just love seeing bunnies all relaxed. #relaxedbunnies#grace#teddy#teddythebunny
Bonding bunnies can be unpredictable! Some click instantly, others take over a year. Felix & Flopsy defied all expectations! When Felix had a meltdown,we got him cozy in bed. Flopsy joined,it was instant magic! I've never seen a bunny as devoted as Felix is to Flopsy. #flopsyandfelix#bondingbunnies
The Museum of American Glass just got the historic Camden Hotel next door! It's in disrepair, so we hosted a meeting with the Weston Historic Landmarks Commission to find support for this huge renovation. Teddy was there to help! 😉 #westonwv#historicpreservation#MAGWV#CamdenHotel#teddy
While at Harpers Ferry, we visited the ruins of St. John's Episcopal Church, built in 1852. It served as a hospital and barracks during the Civil War and was rebuilt in 1865 before being abandoned in 1895. #harpersferry#jackinthebag #stjohnsspiscopalchurch
While visiting Harpers Ferry, we checked out Tenfold Fair Trade Collection, a shop with environmentally friendly handmade goods. It was a tough decision between cute earrings and a cute bunny figurine. Steve said get the bunny! #harpersferry#jackinthebag#tenfoldfairtrade
Harpers Ferry, a town often exchanged between Confederate & Union forces during the Civil War, offers historical insights where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet. Despite the crowds of tourists, we found a peaceful spot to relax under the railroad bridge walkway. #jackinthegbag#harpersferry
We checked out historic Ferry Hill overlooking the Potomac River! 🏡 Built in 1812, it was once part of a thriving ferry business & farm. It is now a national park site. This beautiful mansion needs some TLC to restore its glory! #FerryHill#jackinthebag
The Antietam Battlefield features 96 monuments and old cannons on wagon wheels. We saw a line of them and snapped quick pics! So much to see, so little time. This battlefield has even more to explore. Maybe Teddy will visit someday! #jackinthebag#travelingjack#antietam#cannons

The historic Dunker Church at Antietam survived the Civil War, later rebuilt after collapsing due to weather. Originally built by German Baptists, known as Dunkers, this Anabaptist group founded their own churches in the 17th-18th centuries. #jackinthebag#antietam#civilwar#dunkerchurch
The next stop with Jack was the Antietam Battlefield, also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg. This Civil War battle on September 17, 1862, was the bloodiest day in American history with over 22,000 casualties. It was a Union victory and a significant turning point. #jackinthebag#antietam#civilwar
Visited O’Hurley’s General Store in Shepherdstown, WV! With my last name, I had to stop by. Loved the old hardware store feel, handmade local items, and historic goods like oil lamps and colonial clothing. Jack and I planned our next move while waiting for the train to go by! #OHurleys#jackinthebag
On the Shepherd University campus, there was a cute 1920s playhouse for kids. It is known as the Florence Shaw Demonstration Cottage, and is in Dutch Colonial style with child-sized furniture. A matching barn is nearby. #Playhouse#Shepherdstown#History
During Jack's 2022 trek through WV's Eastern Panhandle, we stopped at the historic Shepherdstown! This beautiful old town, founded in 1762, overlooks the Potomac River. It's one of WV's two oldest incorporated towns and home to Shepherd University. #WestVirginia#Shepherdstown#History
