Is Nothing is data conduit for the parent company like Google products or privacy-focused?
Reporters never disclosed where they heard this information. It originated from two places: participants at Eric’s birthday party and other politico types outside of Dallas CMs.
He IS running for AG despite the denial, and his CM opponents did not start the story, but they have been happy to share it.
He’s running for AG, but that’s not reported here. www.dallasnews.com/news/politic...

Long column short: With AT&T, Comerica, the Stars and Mavs eying exits, with nearly 30% of the CBD's towers vacant, there’s no vision for downtown in 2025, just landowners concerned about their corners of the CBD and a city manager trying to stop the bleeding.

Wilonsky: Downtown Dallas is always at a crossroads, so why does this time feel different?
I was taking a lap around downtown Monday afternoon when I ran into a friend of a friend who knows more about the Central Business District’s real estate...

* Mavericks trade Luka and miraculously get first pick in draft
* Foreign-born Mavs owner helping destroy democracy
* Steve Balmer salary cap scandal
* NBA / Mafia gambling ring, which is top of the iceberg.

HEY, DALLAS! Let’s give away land to the Mavericks! Let’s spend more $ on the league/team!
Get used to this, tip of the iceberg, etc. Big Sport is a laundromat for owners and gambling has made games illigitimate. You are a fool if you bet and buy their merch. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/10...

WFAA also dutifully reported the staff line.
The Mavericks are playing along with Dallas, but will not stay here. The city would literally have to give away land to get them to stay. Not happening. West’s eagerness to help any B_G real estate developer no matter the consequences is nauseating. He has no chance to be mayor.
We know all of the CMs get oodles of money from real estate. What drives staff to follow orders from this industry?
Dallas Observer also posted a story. A cynic would say all the CMs
are either on Team Ray W (tear down) or Team Ray H (arena on his land). B_G Real Estate is doing terrible things to downtown. www.dallasobserver.com/news/fix-or-...
No stories yet about the city hall and the made-up maintenance costs at yesterday’s city council?

4. An ugly bridge tailor-made for real estate developers. Another bridge that was unsafe for pedestrians and didn’t have enough money to complete the original design

5/ Convention Center whose costs are still unknown and whose political championed killed the I-345 tear down.

Instead of taking care of its assets, City of Dallas city staff and successive city councils have funded….

1. A park that was never built and a tollway no one wanted.

2. A city owned hotel that is rarely full and is in deep debt.

3. Attempts to lure Boeing and Amazon’s HQ. They used us.
Who bought Jesse Moreno?
Well, they did have a content partnership with Tass until 2022. It would be interesting to delve into the politics of David Thomson, the chair of the holding company.
A little more detail, please? Who is leading this presentation and Q&A? How is Matthews Southwest involved since they are the primary landowner around Fair Park? Is this really a marketing event disguised as community engagement? www.dallasnews.com/news/inside-...
Dallas Morning News to host event discussing Fair Park’s future on Nov. 1
This event is part of a series of community listening sessions hosted by The Dallas Morning News.

After this afternoon’s new drop, tell me again you’re not running for AG.

If you’re a reporter cover tomorrow’s march thru downtown, you’ll find interesting stories by arriving hours early to observe and record the surveillance infrastructure being put in place. Walk the perimeter of downtown, watch the top of buildings, flightradar24 for aerial, and stingray vans.
