I'm in love with the direction the new set is aiming for. Gladiatorial combat is awesome and the spectacle of it really plays it up! I'm pretty much in love with the wrestling references and what they're going for! Can't wait!

Seeing the price of certain fables continue to gain value over the past month or two is concerning. While reprinting staples is helpful, someone looking at a competitive deck and seeing a $500+ card is horrific optics.

Zeroed out at a 74 person RTN in Houston, going 0-3 before dropping to play in a rather unique draft. It involved a box that fell off the back of a truck and some fancy stamp on the cards.
Wound up getting 2nd which was a nice consolation after getting humbled in CC. God I love this game

My biggest issue with modern attack reacts in #fabtcg is that they're glorified shell games. They're rigged in the favor of the one controlling the shells (Assassins) and all you can do is guess which shell is best for you. The best response is to not play but damn if that isn't fun.

I'm going to say it: I hate the current meta of attack reactions. There's far too many overvalued attack reacts in the game and most of them come with additional on hits on top of it.
I don't like it and I sincerely can not wait until it goes away. Makes certain heroes unfun to play against
