Deathcatchers are a rare enemy that causes all nearby dead foes to get resurrected until it is destroyed.

The resurrected versions are slightly slower and weaker, but as the dead stack up, their numbers can easily become overwhelming.

the other type I noticed was ones where you have these "powerup" meters that would build over time and pop randomly/once they were full, which forced the player to keep playing so that they didn't waste their power-up progress and chase combos that could potentially lead to big earnings

not to mention the games themselves are incredibly addicting; two notable types I discovered were ones that consistently gave you small wins that eventually added up to small earnings but slightly larger deficits, which makes the player feel good and keep playing while still making a profit

just went to a casino for the first time and I got to see just how predatory their designs are. endless maze of slot machines, free drinks and bathrooms around every corner, they really do draw you in and trap you
