My old turkey buddy ran past me as I was leaving the beach this morning. I saw it often this summer snacking along the path and I'm happy to know that it's still doing well. 😊🦃

Check out this funky Sea Pork or colonial tunicate (Aplidium Stellatum). I'm no expert so, I'm explaining it the best way I can: close up, you can see the little zooid organisms and all of those little guys together make a colony. This colony is protected by a leathery tunic which you see here.

This little crab thought it was well camouflaged in this tidal pool so I acted like I couldn't see it and just took a quick pic. I really wanted to stay awhile and tell it how pretty it was. 😁 #Nature 🦑

A photo taken from a low position of a bed of reindeer lichen (I think - or at least ObsIdentify does) located within woodland at a nature reserve in Sevenoaks, Kent. The lichen has a coral like quality to its structure and is silvery green in colour, dusted with brown fallen leaves 🍂 in the background are the trunks of birch trees creating a border to the image fully across it’s horizontal axis. The day is overcast but bright enough.

We did a Christmas 5k this morning and came across this couple who were signed up for the costume contest. I don't know if they won but they sure had my vote! How completely cute is this?

I found this stranded Atlantic Giant Cockle the other morning after King tides. Isn't it pretty? After this little photo shoot, I placed it gently back into the ocean. 🦑
