I was just at the beach where I found more stranded starfish and as I was putting them back into the water this gentleman came up to me and said, "have you ever heard the story about the little boy picking up starfish and the older man telling him it won't make a difference?" 😍 How cool is that?

Aww thank you! I ran across two curious children with their dad and showed them how to place starfish into the water. So they walked around putting starfish back while their dad fished downstream. I bet they helped thirty themselves. It was the sweetest!

On Friday, I counted thirty starfish stranded on the beach. Since they sort of go where the water takes them, I'm wondering if the hurricane hundreds of miles away caused it or maybe our sudden cold snap made them lethargic. It's ok to gently pick them up and place them back in the water though. 🦑
