We recently lost a poster "contest" for the local county fair-- to an AI generated poster!! Siiigh. The judges knew it was AI but said it was "much better" than any of the human artists' submissions. That hurt...... 🤕 #kidlitchat

We think we're "solar-powered," so the dark season is really tough for our energy sometimes-- but we LOVE seeing the stars at night and the sunsets! It's all a balance. #Kidlitchat

We love seasons! 🍁🌿🌅❄️ We're always inspired by the seasonal changes-- especially light in the dark months. We also love the idea of rebirth/ new beginnings in spring. For some reason, we also find that we tend to do more writing in winter and more art in summer! #kidlitchat

We're on a small island in Washington state. The mainland has squirrels, and everyone thinks it's funny how much we love seeing them whenever we go off-island! 😅
