Yall, just use invoices and label them as digital services, that is all you need for taxes and its HOW you are supposed to do business. Stop using friends and family and letting people send money to you. Half the time people are just breaking ToS straight up and that's why they get banned

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

That's always been one of the criticisms of it as a genre. Even the original novels were always just like, basically Jules Verne or H.G. Wells fanfiction. Victorian-themed science fiction as opposed to speculative fiction discussing social themes.
