I think you might have miscalculated. Lp = 20log(p/p_ref), where Lp is sound in dB and p_ref is 2e-5 Pa.

300 dB is 2×10^10 Pa, and 310 is 2×10^10.5 Pa, or 6×10^10 Pa. Both extraordinary incomprehensible levels.

Depends on what type of "AI". Generative text/image/video is impressive and destructive. The specialized Fancy Regression for scientific study like protein folding e.g. is about as impressive and hugely beneficial.

Also worth noting that in California, declining to sign means the bill is enacted into law. Newsom could sit on his hands for a week, and it would pass. I would probably include that sort of information if I was writing an article with the purpose of informing my readers.
