The fact that if you share something with someone via a share sheet in another app on iPhone, it clears your unread texts from them, is a really bonkers design decision.

Wait did they just say #14 for LSU’s height is… 6 7? 😏

An underrated aspect of enshittification is the computer games kids play. I grew up on Brøderbund and the Oregon Trail and SimCity and stuff like that. This weekend I saw my nephew and niece playing free YouTube and Google Play games that are utter brainrot.

Mike Bobo call more passes and screens. They’re really good. You will find success if you call more passes and screens.

Can’t go in the @redditcfb.com game thread because it’s distasteful to be around that many uga fans 😞

When I was in middle school some kids went around petitioning adults to ban “dihydrogen monoxide” for being a dangerous chemical and got a lot of signatories. Folks, that’s water. This stuff isn’t new.

My issue with the idea that older buildings are demolished because of Capitalism is that I do not wish to live amongst asbestos and lead.

I’m fine with reusing older buildings (and their embodied carbon) insofar as they can be updated to modern public health standards.

Why are the temperatures my heaters are heating to cut off in my iPhone’s control center? Apple employs designers, right?

I really hate how the search tab in apps has become the home page. This started with Instagram, but it’s most glaring for me right now with The Athletic. Total perversion of the magnifying glass icon.

I'm just doing baked mac and cheese. Normally I add a couple of eggs, but this year there are more kids than in the past, so I'm thinking of doing a sodium citrate thing so that the good cheese can have the texture of velveeta.
Let’s run this again, was fun last year, what new adversities are we about to create for ourselves on the field, drop your menus below

@nohaggerty.bsky.social's LA Times article about wildfire evacuation challenges reminded me how indispensable my e-bike was in the Palisades fire.

@rollovereasy.org good morning! I’d like to submit another endorsement for Ornot’s Mission Pants (and Mission Shorts). I’m not wearing them right now but I often do wear them as PJs. So comfy!

I would love to read an account of this saga that isn’t written in an atrociously purple way but seems like that’s too much to ask of anyone involved

Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon
