The Paul George Transaction Tree

6 Pacers that have some connection in their transactional lineage that goes all the way back to the Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Domas Sabonis deal:
Tyrese Haliburton
Andrew Nembhard
Ben Sheppard
Pascal Siakam
Johnny Furphy
Tristen Newton
Undersold Huff’s defense in that final minute and a half. Actually was credited with 3 blocks in the final 88 seconds.
Jay Huff’s final minute on defense:

Blocks the Giddey layup that was initially called a goaltend, challenges a Vuc 3 that was airballed, forces miss on Huerter drive, and stymied Vuc in the post and grabbed the rebound. Need one more stop for the win with 10 seconds left and Pacers up 2.

Pascal Siakam, at the buzzer. Pacers win 103-101.

Jeremiah Johnson saying it looked like he might pass out of the double and Pascal responding that he “thought about it but nah,” says he needed a game winner after Brandon Ingram got one on him in Toronto.
I definitely thought he waited too long once that double came, but damn he is good

Pacers have been ice cold after that hot first half. Bulls now up 5 with 5:50 left.
November 30, 2025 at 2:32 AM
Isaiah Jackson looking springier lately, Jay Huff looking very good. Pacers centers starting to settle in.

Constant cycle in this third quarter of Pacers being up 7-9, then Bulls erasing all or most of that lead, then Pacers pushing the lead back to 7-9, then Bulls erasing all or most of that lead

Highly recommend this Pacers strategy of making a very high percentage of their shots. Very fun first half.

Up 61-54 at halftime.

Jay Huff (14) and Bennedict Mathurin (8) score 22 of Pacers 26 points in the first quarter.

They trail the Bulls 27-26.

HE’LL HUFF AND HE’LL PUFF AND HE’LL BRING THE FIELDHOUSE DOWN

My goodness. Jay Huff with 14 points in less than 4 minutes. 4 3s and an offensive rebound putback.

Pacers up 14-9.

THE PACERS WON A CUP GAME

It’s really good to see the Pacers just destroy a truly terrible team
Pacers lead reached 30 there for a second. A butt kicking. The Wizards are bad.

If the Pacers played the Wizards* every game, I think they would challenge the Thunder for best record in the league**

*I think the Pacers are playing well, but it is hard to tell against this team, but also they did lose to the Nets

**I would still bet on the Thunder in that scenario

That little scoop pick up of the loose ball and pass in one motion by JRE to Matthews in the corner for 3 was awesome

12/6/2/4 line on 5 of 6 shooting so far for Huff in his first start at the 5
November 29, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Up to 4 blocks tonight halfway through 3rd quarter in his first start at the 5 on the year
Jay Huff is blocking 11% of opponent 2-pt shot attempts while they are on the floor according to Basketball Reference. That is an absurd number.

Wemby’s number of 9.6% would typically lead the league easily. 8% is an elite number.
Over 2 blocks in 16.7 minutes per game is kind of wild

Jay Huff is 2nd to Wemby in blocks per game.

Great pass by Mathurin to hit Huff for the open 3

Jarace Walker just did his best Jay Huff impersonation with his own reverse dunk off of a Huff assist. Pacers having fun but Wizards cut the lead slightly to 13 and Carlisle calls timeout.
November 29, 2025 at 1:57 AM
Pascal is doing work.

Jay Huff with an offensive board and a reverse dunk while getting hit in the face with no call.

Shep hits a 3

Pacers up 9
November 29, 2025 at 1:17 AM
Good to see that springy dunk from I-Jax, great finish in transition by Benn

Pacers take a 27-21 lead to force a Wizards timeout
November 29, 2025 at 1:03 AM
8-0 run for Pacers are they nearly went scoreless for 4 minutes after opening the game with a 3

Lead 11-7
