#amazonpharmacy

I ordered a specific generic maker of a medication. Amazon pharmacy sent me what they damn well pleased which is always the medication they can get the best deal on. The picture and the maker were both selected, not their chosen medication. They will not refund. DON’T USE AMAZON

Patel, Musk, RFK pale into comparison of what’s coming our way tomorrow, Feb 1, 2025, and the first step to annihilation of the US economy. When the pain threshold hits a certain critical mass, things will change dramatically.

Google Maps has decided to adopt Trump’s names for The Gulf of Mexico and Mt. Denali. It can no longer serve as a version of the truth.

This from The Guardian:

“At home, the lack of protesters on the streets should not be mistaken for acquiescence. Nor should the downcast mood be taken for despair.”

Grocery prices will rise due to Republican policies.

I would hate for this picture of Mark Zuckerberg staring down the shirt of Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez during Donald Trump’s inauguration to go viral.

Would be such a shame for Zuck.

I’ve come to the realization that most people on the left are not agents of change. In an oligarchy, they still think they can vote themselves out of this backsliding into fascism. It will take people leaving their comfort zone to make change happen. Young people are the arbiters of change.

You want to see how an organic reaction to stacking a government with oligarchs goes over, here it is and it’s coming to a country near you.

I’m watching these bowl games and Taco Bell is showing an ad where an argument takes place about chicken nuggets. An obese young woman is taking the lead while stuffing a nugget into her mouth and dipping another one into some kind of sauce. They are openly promoting obesity and are not hiding it.

Johnny Depp, Bradley Cooper, Adam Driver have all jumped down the money hole. Who’s next? Kamala Harris opening up grocery stores like Reagan used to do?

maga has control of all 3 branches of government in 23 states. Some liberal groups want to challenge extreme laws in states that overwhelmingly told everyone they don’t want to be a part of the modern world. Big mistake to expend time and energy in people who screw themselves and will do it again.

I’m just curious here how so many people considered intelligent still to this day idolize Biden who was so mentally incapacitated that his staff refused to let Congressman Adam Smith, a security expert, see him as early as 2021? It leads me to believe that their opinions aren’t worth two shits.

I’m not going to be outdone by all the great pictures of pet cats. While I didn’t save any pictures of our departed Lucky Boy, I did do my best to capture his essence in this rendering.

I worked at a firm in Houston. They hired an Indian as part of our team. He wasn’t bright (Fox News was all he could understand), but he worked 12 hours a day. The company gave him the right to work remotely, raises, and notoriety. Corporations have been negligently breeding this contempt.

I’m seeing a dangerous trend on the left. Maybe these are people trying to stake their claims but trying their damndest to get the left to acclimate themselves to fascism rather than fight it is a losing proposition. Hard right fascism and fascism lite is still fascism. We aren’t going there.

I’m really on here for political discussion and education. But, the largest responses I got and was exposed to was when I offered up an opinion on Love Actually. Come on people, life isn’t a continuing episode of TMZ, if that’s even a thing anymore. That thing inside our skulls needs exercise.

Why the "Mump Regime"? For a new world we need new words. Facing the coming Musk-Trump regime, it will not be enough to rely on the standard terms ("administration," "presidency", and the like). That normalizes the abnormal.

@curtsmith.bsky.social Curt, I have a recording of the Spotify TFF concert from a few years back. You might be interested in reading a forthcoming book, “Mood Machine,” on the stealing of earnings normally paid to artists, but, in fact, going into the pockets of the Spotify CEO.
