Full Persian collar stock coming together! These are designed to be warn multiple ways, allowing for locking & regular clasping as needed for the day to day wear. I love building them custom to match pup hoods. It's such a lovely pattern for day collaring, & being half stainless steel great weight!

Definitely behind on everything else as I work furiously to make stock for next year's cons, make a 2nd set up entirely that lives in the PNW for long term planning, and make my renfaire stock for things that are needed this coming weekend. Tomorrow I need to sit down and ship orders and catch up!

I like to collect the ethereal ones

Let me tell you a secret - sometimes I think this all might be a bad dream. Every now and then, when the world is quiet enough, when the yellow light hits the ceiling just right, I feel like a child again.
Sometimes I wish I could find the spot where time is weakest, touch it, tear it apart, and wake up on the sofa, behind my parents' backs where I've crawled after some nightmare. From the TV, a laugh track. I'm pretending to sleep. It's summer. See, the balcony door is ajar. See, there's a mosquito trying to get in. See, my heart isn't aching. See?

Not to beat a dead horse but the beauty of tragedy us knowing the ending and telling it anyway. It's a sad song, but we're going to sing it anyway. He's dead from the beginning but at one point he laughs. We'll keep telling it to watch him laugh

The internet is an inherently haunted place if you think about it like. It's so seird to see long abandoned discussion boards stuck in a snapshot of the past, old conversations between kids from over a decade ago who have now grown into their own lives, obituaries taking the form of half finished profiles. And the silence that fills the gaps between. There's a constant ghostly record of each generations thoughts, fads, their sense of humor, back when the future was at their fingertips. Even stranger, people you used to know exist openly in that space, and they watch you watching them. If you want, deceased musicians can play through your headphones. There's always an underlying sense of reminiscing and time escaping our ever shortening attention spans. What a graveyard

I don't like how endings in real life come on so suddenly without making sense, without much warning. One minute you're in the middle of something and the next it's all a very long time ago and you're a different person and none of it is ever coming back

Collar making for the day with a lovely chai steeping away! Recovery time post Anthrocon took a bit longer than planned, but now I'm working on commissions! Maybe some premades for Megaplex too.

Sitting outside on the back patio at a picnic table, making Full Persian collars. Tea pot full of chai, measuring cup half full of oat milk, and a tea cup mixing the two are accompanied by a charcuterie board.

She thanked me and asked to give me a hug. She told me I was kind and never looked at her weird or judged her for wanting pretty pink earrings & explained the fear of such a reaction had kept her from taking that small step for so long. It's customers like her that remind me why we have Pride Month.

She proudly showed me those same earrings her friend had bought her back in 2019. I came to find out that they were the first pair of earrings she ever owned, and that her friend got them to motivate herself into getting her ears pierced. Once they healed, they were all she ever wore.

Last year, I had a customer approach me at a con whom I had not seen since precovid. She was nervous, as the last time I had seen her she had been masc presenting. I remembered her and her friend coming up, her clear embarrassment as she selected the earrings she liked most.

Happy Pride!

It's the final day of a month that means a lot to me. I've been an openly bi woman more of my life than not. It was never a question, never a choice. People are incredible, and being able to find not only attraction but also love, no matter what gender is a beautiful gift.

New office for the next 2 months! I'm out of state in Seattle. While still getting work done, I am taking a much needed vacation after the last 6 months of work I've done. I admit, I love this view.
Tea is from Perennial Tea Room, a citrus mint licorice that I picked up yesterday. It's phenomenal!💜

I am going to be almost entirely out of office from June 4th- August 5th. Traveling for cons and other trips visiting loved ones. I am home a total of 6 days in that time frame.
