To be fair it’s been a general trend for most of my life to feel more open to rest when everything’s still happening than when everything’s still. I guess something about the comfort of knowing the world’s still running.

It’s just intensified as of late.

It is officially easier for me to fall asleep mid-work at my desk than it is when I’ve set everything up for bed.

I swear to god, getting up and feeling a little tired, only to lay down and not feel compelled to sleep. I’m not even overthinking- mind’s like playing tv static, and it can’t shut off.
