I have this discussion so often, every time the wider team go "oh yeah, we're using AI to provide this exec summary" or "oh, these minutes were taken with AI" my brain goes "awesome, I'll let AI read them then and we can all go home". I've yet to find any benefit from using it beyond "cba to work".

So I picked up Seafarer: The Ship Sim in Early Access. Spent this evening playing it. The concept is really fun and it's nice to just chill whilst hauling cargo. Won't pretend that an hour just sailing between waypoints isn't thrilling, but I also just unlocked fast travel... #GamesMasterXantin

It would appear I have a single room for CFz in the Hilton! This is a relief, as it means I can balance getting into the thick of being at a con with having easy access to a space when I need to escape. I also can stop up as late as I want without worrying I still have a 30minute walk to my room.

People show friendship in a lot of ways. Today I am going to bed content in the knowledge that @itspequod.bsky.social saw I was freaking out today over losing the carry case for my monopod, helped me search, then scrambled through a pumpkin patch till he found it. I am weirdly emotional over this.
