join a library. i'm so serious. most writers earn a pittance for their work, but we get a small fee when people borrow our books from libraries. you get books for free, and we still get paid. you can even borrow ebooks and audiobooks AND you keep libraries alive. it's win-win

Smut and kink in general serves a similar purpose to horror as a genre; it’s an excellent way to experience things of that sort in a safe environment where you have a pause button available at all times. Makes sense why I was draw to horror as a youth and participate in kink now, they’re healing!

Think of how little you would know about some of your most absolutely basic urges if you DIDN’T have access to the things that conjure these feelings in a safe, controlled environment. People are complex, sex is completely normal and exploring yourself is within society’s best interests.
