As the weather gets harsher, 8,000 Illinoisans are at risk of losing their homes because of Republican attacks on affordable housing.

Where are the Illinois GOP as families, seniors, and people with disabilities will be left without a roof over their heads during our coldest months?

A sickening mistake. Once again, RFK is proving he’s more interested in promoting pseudoscience than actually making Americans healthy again.

And it'll be our kids who pay the price.

The CDC must reverse this immediately.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s hand-picked vaccine committee voted on Friday to do away with the long-standing, universal recommendation that all babies receive a hepatitis B shot at birth, issuing weaker guidance for certain infants.

The Trump Administration finds new ways to pull the rug out from under Americans every day.

And now they're putting babies in danger.

Illinois just enacted a law to provide our own science-based recommendations to protect access to vaccines so families get the care they need.

Today marks seventy years since the Montgomery Bus Boycott began in Alabama.

Black Americans took a stand for their rights, dignity, and freedoms — and changed history.

Their bravery inspires me, and I am committed to continuing their push for equality.

Of the 1,895 people ICE detained in Illinois, 1,271 lacked any criminal record and only 28 had been convicted of a violent crime.

It was never about going after the “worst of the worst." It has always been about weaponizing and normalizing racism.
Nearly 1,900 immigrants were detained during the first half of Operation Midway Blitz. Most had no criminal record.
Newly released federal data shows that immigration agents booked in roughly 1,900 immigrants in the first half of Operation Midway Blitz – two-thirds of whom had no known criminal convictions or pe…

The incredibly popular tax credits from my Health Care Affordability Act have been a lifeline for families.

Donald Trump is openly against affordability.

Costs have skyrocketed because of the president's tariffs. He signed the largest cut to health care in American history and refuses to extend subsidies that can help lower premium prices.

Shameful.

This law is about making it easier for parents to fly with breastmilk and breastfeeding supplies, ensuring TSA keeps its employees up to speed with its own policies and more.

Huge win for families.

In one month, health care costs will skyrocket for over 500,000 Illinoisans because Republicans would rather line the pockets of billionaires than extend tax credits for families.

Illinois Democrats will keep fighting to make health care affordable for working families.

Happy Thanksgiving, Illinois!

We’re incredibly thankful for our supporters, organizers, donors, partners, and volunteers who work tirelessly to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Wishing you all a joyful and peaceful holiday with your loved ones!

Trump’s failing economy means higher prices for families, and they are feeling it this holiday season.

From turkeys to sweet potatoes, Thanksgiving dinner just got more expensive.

Looks like another failed promise.

As Thanksgiving approaches, don’t forget:

❌ Trump fought all the way to the Supreme Court to deny families from putting food on the table this month.

❌ Illinois Republicans ripped food assistance away from 360,000 Illinoisans.

This is not leadership – it’s cruelty.

It’s no wonder why Trump wanted to hide this.

Unemployment is up and manufacturing lost 6,000 jobs, bringing losses to 49,000 under Trump.

In Illinois, Democrats’ workforce investments brought several manufacturing businesses to our state this year, creating thousands of good-paying jobs.

How does the Trump administration honor National Education Week? By dismantling the U.S. Department of Education.

Instead of uplifting students and teachers, Republicans are making education unaffordable and inaccessible.
