Guess I should throw something like this here:

Hey, I’m Sam, and I’m that guy who speedruns Levelhead. I do also speedrun other games though, and casually I play a lot of indies and am a big achievement hunter. I try and stream (mostly runs) once a week or so over at www.twitch.tv/illegallysam
Now, if anybody wants me to also rant about bad achievement slop, I can do that all day, lol
I don’t think a sequel bait ending that has not or will never get a sequel is a bad thing per se. D4 is still a game I remember fondly to this day despite it being very dead with a brutal cliffhanger. But, to me, there’s a difference between a proper cliffhanger and just having no resolution at all.
An ending to a point & click adventure game that had already tested my patience a few times, and that ending had zero resolution, zero catharsis for anything I experienced up until then, and was just a sequel bait ending that did not leave me wanting more. It soured an already mediocre experience.
I’ve played a lot of very bad games over the years specifically just for achievements, and while a lot of them deserve to be here, not many of them are interesting, so I’ll refrain.

Instead, I’ll throw in the most unsatisfied I’ve ever been with an ending: The Book of Unwritten Tales 2.
What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?

(games media folks, it can't be something you were assigned to review; this has to be something you subjected yourself to of your own free will)
I made this meme a couple hours after Silksong came out and just remembered that I completely forgot to post it anywhere, lol. It’s still relevant, right?
When you get to a boss but it’s double damage, overlayed over the “When you get to heaven but it’s Chinese” meme
Playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 casually before I have to learn the speedrun for it but I’ve never watched Dragon Ball www.twitch.tv/illegallysam

I stream Levelhead, speedruns, and some other stuff if I feel like it.

Nagito Komaeda helping the Shroobs just so that the Bros can level up more
I’ll always bat for Sonic Chronicles being actually pretty decent. If it wasn’t for the OST, it wouldn’t get nearly as much hate
The console runner struggle is always real 😔
Nobody submitted Switch 2 Welcome Tour, what has this world come to
*can’t speak french* Ah yes, lesbian speedruns
These first two PBs were kinda insulting with how badly I botched things and how close I came to 38, but thankfully that third PB came in clutch and almost went straight to 37 instead. Going to be leaving Typoman alone for a while here, but I'll come back for that next minute if this gets into AGDQ.
Levelhead is still on sale for $1 rn
The crafting segment at the beginning really makes it weird as far as Metroidvania-y runs go. The fact that you don’t need to find any equipment and instead craft it all in the first few minutes to then fully sequence break everything really makes it unlike most other games.
This is what Paper Mario has been missing all these years
100% accurate review of Silksong from my friend
Messages that say: Silksong makes me want to burn down a building
Game of the year 2025
Fuck im angry
Stupid goddamn magic vomit frog pissing me off
Got my last submission recorded tonight, so now I've got my full slate of AGDQ submissions
List of AGDQ submissions, featuring Levelhead, Rebel Transmute, Rift of the Necrodancer, and Typoman Revised
Well, can't say I'm thrilled with this PB, but hey a PB is a PB. I lost so much time in chapter 2, at least a minute and a half, so even though I golded both chapters 1 and 3, this run still barely finished ahead. I will get that sub-39, but it is proving to be a challenge, lol.
Go buy Levelhead right now, it’s on sale for $1 on Steam and Xbox, and $2 on Switch
Levelhead 95% off on Steam for $1
A follow up to a beloved indie game from about a decade ago that was well known for its phenomal music and was a quite popular speedgame despite being known as brutally difficult.

Rift of the Necrodancer, of course

(Silksong is a close second though, lol)
