Hearing people be like "every progressive candidate is going to have every dark thing brought up against them" and sure, I didnt care at all about his reddit comments. Nazi tattoo tho??? Easiest line to not cross of all time
I personally don't know if I believe he didn't know or not but the lack of discernment that you need to have to get a nazi tattoo just immediately disqualifies you. It sucks, I liked his platform. But no, it doesn't matter if it's an accident
The biggest thing I've learned the past week is Tennessee baseball fans are really REALLY passionate and love this guy.
Let's GOOOOOOOOOO

You heard it here first, your 2026 manager of the year award winner
Breaking news story on the Giants being in agreement with Tony Vitello, making him the first head coach with no pro baseball experience to leap directly to a major league managerial position: www.nytimes.com/athletic/673...
San Francisco Giants to hire Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello as next manager: Sources
Vitello will be the 40th manager in franchise history and he has by far the most unique resume.

It really really is opening night for these refs tonight.
This seems stacked especially with skinny Zion coming into the season
What's the roster look like
I saw a stat about team performance vs preseason Vegas expected wins. The Lebron Lakers were one of the teams that were consistently below Vegas predictions (along with the Pelicans).
I don't think theyll be bad but to be contenders they'd need a healthy Lebron and Luka to end the season. AND Ayton to finally become a productive player in YEAR 9. Lot of things need to fall right for them to be more than just a playoff team
Golden State I think are really good when healthy, like top 3 in the West. But they're so old and with a history of injuries that I just cannot trust them at all.
I've looked through a ton of MBA season previews and something that flat out confuses me is how the Lakers are considered contenders by a lot of people. I simply do not see it at all.
Today is the 15th anniversary of the original release of Super Meat Boy on the Xbox 360 back in 2010. Celebrating by doing something almost no one has done: beating the game

Also talking about my Twitchcon experience. The good, the bad, and the weird

The gameplay seemed really basic and is why I held off. The city builder thing seemed interesting enough but not if the gameplay isn't great. Bummer
I need to know if this game is truly worth the hype. Do finally I stop playing Balatro on my phone and play this instead?
Someone attempts this type of series all the time and turns out speedruns are much more interesting when they're grinded out at least a little bit
I wouod define "one of the worst" as bottom 5 and I do not think they'll get there.

If they didn't start the season with injuries to Sabonis (after his hamstring injury last year he sucked so bad) and Keegan I'd disagree with the last one too but rn...
I love anchovies so I thought I'd like it more than I did. Goes great in the sauce tho
I could see it being really fun if you're in the community discord of like a big streamer and friends with a bunch of people in that community. As a convention it's... not good. GDQx is awesome, by far the best part if the con itself. Almost every other cool thing happens outside of the event
I also went to that one and it is different now but only in a way that more embodies the website. So many more IRL streamers and people that are overly obsessed with individual streamers

But I didnt get handed business cards from streamers like in 2018 so that was a plus
I enjoyed getting to talk to and meet so many people at Twitchcon but it has so so so many issues as an event that it is mind-blowing
