With no benefit cuts to speak of, and yet more subsidies for those that do not work, Labour chooses to push the #DoomLoop out for a bigger procrastination of the day if reckoning. I guess they want to postpone economic collapse to the day after losing the next election. 🗳️

The lowest estimate of the yearly cost of Brexit is £50 billion, just imagine what Rachel Reeves could have done with that! Lifting the two-child benefit cap will cost £3 billion in comparison.

If it wasn't for her U-turn on welfare reforms, she would have been on track to actually meet her target by a whisker before she made any changes to tax and spending.

No reigning in of corporate welfare !! No action on multinational tax loopholes.

Reeves might be living on another planet, but when the next election comes, she’ll be moving out of Downing Street too. 🤪 🤣 🤪

Tomorrow, we’ll shake that magic money tree and make those 2% paying 40% of the state income cough up a bit more, so that 50% of our populace can take some form of state benefit and vote for the hand that feeds them. It’s a doom loop that ends badly. Literacy and numeracy don’t trump politics. #OBR

Its obvious that no matter who you vote for, your party candidates are already bought by big money interests. The system allows for donors, and so long as the politicians observe the rules - which they have written - we can do nohing.

So do nothing, dont vote!!!

The #MansionTax is just so wrong on so many levels. It is a symptom of a government that wants to expand the welfare state, tax work and investment, rather than push people to get off state support. And it leaves equity rich and offshore wealthy unaffected.
