The lowest estimate of the yearly cost of Brexit is £50 billion, just imagine what Rachel Reeves could have done with that! Lifting the two-child benefit cap will cost £3 billion in comparison.

I thought that was one of the best budgets for a very long time! Am I alone in thinking that?I thought there was a lot of changes that will hopefully help child poverty and help our NHS come into the 21st century. Most of the taxes seemed fair. I just wish they hadn't messed up the pre-budget comms!

Our convicted felon president, who pardoned Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys convicted of seditious conspiracy, wants to charge Mark Kelly, a decorated war veteran and astronaut, with seditious conspiracy.

That’s some next-level banana republic shit right there.

Don't blame Rachel Reeves! Many informed estimates suggest that Brexit probably costs the UK somewhere between roughly £50 billion and £125 billion per year. Not to mention all the benefits of EU membership we've thrown away. Rejoin now!

I just have this feeling that support for Reform and Nigel Farage is about to start decreasing. There are so many more questions about Nigel Farage's association with Russia and his past racism that have not been in the media or news until now. He is at last being scrutinised by our press and media.

I was deeply sorry that the BBC paid no tribute to John Osman’s long service—meeting Idi Amin & other dictators, being jailed in Ian Smith’s Rhodesia, & revealing the dodgy links between the Soviet U. & apartheid S. Africa to fix gold & diamond prices. Quite a story—but untold.

Don't expect any government to balance the books after the disastrous decision to leave the EU, an irresponsible act of national self-harm!

Lovely funeral service near Oxford for the great BBC correspondent John Osman. His g’daughter Katy wrote and read a poem including these unforgettable lines:
‘You spoke for those who do not have a voice,
The slaves, the prisoners, those who lack a choice.’ John absolutely did.

I think the time has come to abandon the theatrical event that is the Budget, just let the Chancellor (UK Finance Minister) make a regular statement to the House of Commons when he or she can announce any financial changes. Just make it more matter of fact and responsive to changes in the economy.

Thank goodness we live in such a perfect world that the only thing to get angry about is what Tesco call their artificial trees. Christmas rage is all the rage at the moment, and it helps no one! 🤣
