I thought that was one of the best budgets for a very long time! Am I alone in thinking that?I thought there was a lot of changes that will hopefully help child poverty and help our NHS come into the 21st century. Most of the taxes seemed fair. I just wish they hadn't messed up the pre-budget comms!

I just have this feeling that support for Reform and Nigel Farage is about to start decreasing. I think the time has come to abandon the theatrical event that is the Budget, just let the Chancellor (UK Finance Minister) make a regular statement to the House of Commons when he or she can announce any financial changes. Just make it more matter of fact and responsive to changes in the economy.
