At 1:00pm on ‘Great! Action’ they’re showing ‘Lawman’ starring Burt Lancaster.

And at 4:40pm on @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social we have ‘Hombre’ starring Paul Newman.

Brilliant examples of the Western genre & both worth a watch.

Lawman is a 1971 American revisionist Western film produced and directed by Michael Winner and starring Burt Lancaster, Robert Ryan, Lee J. Cobb and Robert Duvall.

Hombre (Spanish for 'man') is a 1967 American revisionist Western film directed by Martin Ritt, based on the 1961 novel of the same name by Elmore Leonard and starring Paul Newman, Fredric March, Richard Boone and Diane Cilento.
