We step into mucky social media feeds—mainly on FB—to make them better. We engage in strategic counterspeech to ensure that a casual byscroller sees comments based on facts and decency rather than…that other stuff. Collaboration is key.

Are you a journalist or public figure who gets attacked on FB for your identity? Let us know; we can work with you to mute that 💩. Are feeds with your articles attracting trolls, disinformation, misinformation, or bigotry? We’d love to collaborate to make actual facts & decency more prominent.

In a feed about a curriculum teaching accurately about the insurrection on 1/6, we see a ton of misinformation, echoing organized disinformation seeking to shift blame away from the instigator-in-chief and the actual participants themselves. We took it on. Want to join us against bigotry & misinfo?

Insurance companies aren’t just players in the fight with doctors over money; they’re also the referees.

They produce their own guidelines on when to pay claims. If a doctor appeals a denial, insurers make all the initial decisions.

What are the odds that we’ll see misinformation about this?

About 100%, because misinformation *always* follows disinformation, and there’s already disinformation in the “Truth” Social post.

That’s the point of disinformation: to seed misinformation. Unfortunately, it works.

How good are you at not taking bait? On social media feeds, it’s about strategy. Every single reply to a comment counts as “engagement” and increases the comment’s visibility. So does every emoji. *Think twice before you boost!* Work with us to ⬆️the good ⬇️bigotry ⬇️dis/misinfo.

The amount of xenophobia and pure meanness we’re seeing in feeds about ICE raids is mind boggling. Together, we can sink that to the bottom of the feeds—but only if we refrain from responding in any way; all “engagement” boosts the comment it responds to into greater visibility. Join our FB group!

This is not okay! We need to contact all their major advertisers.
NBC just gutted the very teams that gave marginalized voices a seat at the table—then called it “restructuring.”

The cuts:

📌NBC Latino (Latino community coverage)

📌NBC Asian America (Asian American community coverage)

📌NBC Out (LGBTQ+ community coverage)
