There are two aspects of 1984 that are overlooked when holding it up as a mirror.

I have a good friend and when he turned 29 he had a yearlong mental breakdown about turning 30 cause it meant he was old.

He’s nearly 50 now and I can’t explain how excited I am to throw this in his face.

Not really. But it used statements from the dev to suppose things about the publisher, and vice versa.
