The franchise has been like this for almost 20 years and you got dumbasses whining about any npc that is darker than a piece of paper.
Or better yet, whining about genderless pokemon existing despite them being introduced over 25 years ago alongside genders.

As much as I don't mind the Frontier being cut from BDSP, not give the Tower the Super formats and adding the gen 4 Brains as secret bosses was a crime. The guest fights in the Battle Tree Super modes were the best part.

The only benefit to Pokemon Masters is that characters like Dahlia and Evelyn are allowed to exist in a modern game and aren't just trapped in almost 15 year old battle facilities that most people don't remember.

I'm actually surprised by how much easier getting the silver print in Battle Arcade was compared to any of the Emerald facilities' silver symbols so far. idk if it was just luck but I didn't have a single close call on the way to the first Dahlia fight. Even the Pike almost killed me a few times

There's usually a chunk of the roster that they hide before release. Like in Scarlet and Violet most of the paradox pokemon were a complete surprise once you got to the final area.
I assume there are also story spoilers in the leaks.

The one thing I've learned from replaying the older games is that they have a lot of problems. Emerald has really weird moments because it has both teams and Johto is just kind of awful.
