Caught again…conducting a highly sophisticated taste test of the freshest, fluffiest, powdered-sugar snow cake nature had to offer. I may have buried my entire face in it for… quality assurance. You know, the scientific method. And then I looked up. Instantly I realized two things: 1. My face was absolutely coated. 2. I was doing a spectacularly bad job pretending it wasn’t. I tried to play it cool—lifted my head, struck a noble stance, gave my best “Who, me?” expression—but it’s hard to look innocent when you’re wearing half the dessert on your snout. I even tried the classic distraction technique: quickly lick your nose and act casual. Didn’t help. Snow cake sticks.

So there I was, bravely forging a new trail through a forest clearly designed by someone who hates ankles. Branches everywhere. Sticks grabbing at my fur. A rogue shrub tried to steal my tail. But did I give up? No. I smiled heroically… which might also look like squinting because I ran directly into a bush. Meanwhile, Rose—over there in the foreground—has the audacity to watch me like I’m performing interpretive dance instead of hardcore wilderness survival. She’s probably thinking, “Bleu, why are you like this?” And honestly? I don’t know. I was born this way. Perfect. Majestic. A little tangled. But I’ve made it out of the bramble alive. Ruby, meanwhile, has appointed herself Secretary of Snacks and is taking detailed notes in her head like: “Step 1: Acquire stick. Step 2: Eat stick.” The debate intensifies. Rose argues the stick chose her. Bleu insists he has antigravity paws and therefore should lead all woodland operations. Ruby responds by simply pulling harder, which in golden retriever diplomacy counts as a formal rebuttal. At some point, the stick itself begins regretting all its life choices. Tracks swirl behind them like a snowbound flowchart of questionable decision-making.
