The trim ring is the giveaway—this is not a twist-lock LED wafer. It’s the older style where the trim and bulb are separate. ⸻ How to Change the Bulb (Step-by-Step) 1. Try removing the bulb first Most of the time, the bulb will simply unscrew like a normal bulb. 1. Make sure the switch is OFF. 2. Place your fingers on the inner rim of the bulb (the glass part). 3. Turn counter-clockwise firmly. 4. If it turns easily → it’s a standard screw-in bulb (BR30/PAR30). If the bulb won’t turn, it may be a retrofit LED module instead. ⸻ 2.
