It’s a nuisance to a lot of them and they don’t want to deal with because they have to face their own racism. It’s crazy because this whole system was built around skin color determining your class. You cannot separate them.

I first saw videos on Pay TV channels like Starcase & Preview in the early ‘80 because no one had cable in Boston. Circa 1984, several music video shows were in syndication. NBC aired “Friday Night Videos”. The few folks with cable in Boston I knew had BET where I saw “Video Soul”…

People don’t like it. I think it’s because in our society we are socialized to see romance as the substance of a relationship. If you give any critique of romance they take it as you hating it.

If you are from the U.S. you should understand that your government defines democracy as unfettered capitalism. authoritarian means a leader who leads on behalf of the people they were elected to represent. U.S. government speaks from the pov of the slave holder, robber baron, ceo.

I didn’t know this. I’m going to look into this, it explains so much. I forgot about hospitals, but yeah it’s the same thing. Idk how I forgot Aramark. They handle work uniforms, rugs, and food.
