You’ve reminded me of something, after the vote I assumed there would’ve some sort of interpretation (fudging?!) via consultative process etc, to help facilitate what you say.

Didn’t anticipate the nuttiness of what followed… maybe because I’m an ordinary Joe far from the world of London politics!
I’ve had one, that I love*, for 6 years… but I’ve been astonished by there subsequent popularity, because they are so obviously stupid compare with a full EV. I’m either carting around a dead weight engine or battery.

Next car will be proper EV.

*driving in electric mode in town is so nice.

What a weird name for a dog. But sorry for their loss.
Livery makes it look like West Yorkshire PTE from 25 years ago!
A post both interesting and dull
I was right not to set up the new dishwasher to connect to the internet

Anyone want to buy a couple of tiaras, couple of brooches, a few earrings and two necklaces? DM for details.
Growing up in Selby in the early 80’s my best friend’s dad was a mechanic for a local coach firm and called WA ‘Wally’s trolleys’… no idea if this was a widely used nickname but it always springs to my mind if I hear of them 😃
I very much enjoyed Too Big to Fail
My mind is showing this precariously balanced with the mat part off the table… the plank nearest the camera as a floor!

A bleak dystopia where Sharia law predominates, while economic and cultural divisions mean that the different communities live parallel, segregated lives.

Oh, wait, that’s Dubai …
Mind how you go...
Probably for the best that it wasn’t Nether Poppleton….
I hadn’t realised it had been similar to The Piece Hall in Halifax
John Mackintosh styled himself ‘the toffee king’, though the Mackintosh recipe was actually invented by his wife Violet.
They started with a Halifax pastry shop in 1890.
There’s still a big sweet factory in Halifax, these days owned by Nestle, after a hostile takeover of Rowntree-Mackintosh in 1988
I don’t think I could cope with either living in 🇺🇸 or being an American nowadays. It must be like living in a hideous dystopian dream from which you never wake up.
I just know that whatever happens, any changes from ‘tax workers’ to ‘tax those living on investments’ are clearly going to kick in soon, because I’m heading towards retirement.
Pfffffff…..
You’ve reminded me of my then girlfriend’s friends used to be quoting this with much hilarity ~1993.

Pessimism incoming! 👇👇👇

The centre & left seem to have lost political ambition. It needs a wholesale shift in perspective to stop something that is beginning to look inevitable now. 🧵
Looks interesting and I’m touristing in London in a couple of weeks…..
Check website…..
Darn it, closed Monday and Tuesday. Harrumph.
