Totally agree with this. I like what has been written about the genre at @solarpunkstories.bsky.social at www.solarpunkstories.com/blog/what-is... and prefer the idea of "rooted" solarpunk myself.

Ugh. So now I’m going to have to live with some bawling brat in seven months. Wonderful.
