in a better world arXiv has always had the policy that all papers must be in esperanto
arXiv recently announced a policy that all submissions must include an English-language translation. This is such a profoundly bad idea that I had to quickly check it wasn't announced on April 1. 🧮 🧪 ⚛️ blog.arxiv.org/2025/11/21/u...

So they renewed line of duty for another season, and I very confidently told my girlfriend that the first 3 seasons are some of the best TV I've seen - am now rewatching to see if this opinion formed by undergrad me holds up
