Wenn irgendwo ein Denkmal errichtet, abgetragen oder umgestaltet werden soll, erschallt sofort der Ruf: "Das ist unsere Geschichte!"
Ist es nicht. Es ist nur eine Sicht auf die Geschichte, wie sie die Erbauer des Denkmals haben wollten. Man kann eine andere haben.

Doch stimmt das überhaupt noch? Sind die neuen Hausfrauen nicht längst zu einer wirklichen politischen Bewegung geworden, in den USA, und womöglich auch hier in Europa? Wieso gibt es eigentlich keine erfolgreichen Entwürfe für glückliche Care-Arbeit von links? Und was sagen die extrem abwehrenden Reaktionen auf Tradwives über unsere Gegenwart aus, in der Kinder oft primär als extreme Last erscheinen, die zum "Eltern-Burn-out" führt?

The rifts running through the Latinx community in the US appear to grow wider by the minute. Latinx have always been an extremely diverse group, but I also think we should be more careful when or when not to deploy that term.

Anyone familiar with that uncanny feeling that there are pundits out there you start to dislike although you agree with them most of the time? I guess it’s because I hate repetitiveness. I’d rather have you surprise me with new thoughts even if I end up dismissing them.
