Every time I attend Thanksgiving dinner at my Montana born and bred in-law’s house I feel like they see me as a weirdo from California, just like Pauly Shore in this 90s classic. It’s almost time to “munch on some grindage”, so I’m ready to push play on my VHS copy.

A handful of kids books I picked up at Goodwill today. All fun, but clearly one jump kicks it’s way above all the others.

The Smallest Elf thinks it’s coming for Phroomf’s throne as the story of the smallest member of Santa’s crew this Christmas. It’s a North Pole Knockdown, Drag Out battle to be the big man’s favorite teenie titan.

I always felt the Chubbles were a combo of the Ewoks and Ro-Bear Berbils from Thundercats. They deserved a higher profile.

What I expected was a quirky action movie parody and what I got was a stylish, competent action flick with a message. I’ll have to sit with this one for a bit. But Glen Powell was awesome in the lead.

My buddy made a film that has some amazing 90s PBS retro elements in it. You ought to give it a watch if you were ever a fan of the Ghost Writer series or just want to support independent cinema.

My wife gifted me this S.H.I.E.L.D. hat a few years ago and I still have yet to wear it. I was watching the middle 30 minutes of Captain Marvel (the only enjoyable part of the movie) tonight and hat totally forgotten Brie rocks it for quite a while in the film. Eh, I still don’t really dig it 😄
