Doing this stuff for two decades, I've heard the most ridiculous stuff presented as fact by people I've likely never met about things I never did.

I have gotten to a weird one point in my online career where a number of people seem to eagerly spread stories about what I do that are just....not true. Remotely.
And I just have to deal with that.
