I kind of love how my #worldofwarcraft Midnight alpha house went through this evolution that's almost like the house levelling up. Looking forward to when I can go full out with a higher decor cap and Goblin theme items.

It's just so much more interesting to have this air of distrust that has to be worked around and that can lead to even betrayal or further misunderstandings from characters. It's the forgive and forget air that the story and SOME PLAYERS have that really annoys me. Let's have some beef, PLEASE.

Yesss... "PLEASE hate me." is the general mode I look at all this with. We are all war criminals, with BUCKETS of the opposing factions blood on our hands. I am not your friend, Alliance hero.

One final design of this walled fortress home design. I managed to get more room by using the extension fixtures on the actual building, but I once again maxed out the decor limit just getting these bare bones down. I hope we get a higher cap for the outside portion of our homes. I need a LOT.

And lastly, for now, we have the nodding donkeys. The oil pumps that are classic Goblin. I could use this model as it is or implement the motion of it into a custom built machine to simulate movement. A must have.

In general, I hope we can see some cable models that we can string between machines and along walls. I know there's the Goblin Xmas light style cables, but sometimes you just need a simple cable LIKE THIS.

Oh yeah, and these makeshift shelters. I could definitely use these in housing. Not as they are shown here, but I could definitely flip and scale these and slap them on the walls of my Orcish hut and give it that distinct Goblin flavor.

The addition of these big ol' oil/fuel tanks you see around Kezan would also be really cool. I love how bright they are. Smack a few pipes on these bad boys and you have some really nice crusty Goblin infrastructure ready to go.

Same with the smokestacks. Gotta have that Goblin SMOG.

Next, ROADS.

Kezan and Bilgewater Harbor have these awesome road elements that could be very useful for making a really industrial feeling area. I need something to make a nice concrete courtyard and these road pieces would work great for that.

First off, I wanna talk about WALLS. Making that little walled compound made me realize how badly we're going to need elements like THESE for any outside building. (I could use them indoors too, honestly)

I love the corrugated metal and the Goblin brick look. I NEED these walls in decor.

I also do these sorts of heavily edited collages of models from WoW, using the Narcissus addon to get poses and editing them to create scenes like these. I love it.

It seems #portfolioday is upon us once again.
I'm Zol'khan/Foreman Gridcog (either work) and I'm a digital artist who works in a few different mediums, but the most on point for portfolioday is my illustrations. I focus on fantasy settings, mostly based on World of Warcraft right now.

You can literally pick up the house on your neighbors lot in build mode and put it on your own lot. I tested it out after hearing it be mentioned and yeah, it works. Alpha is alpha.

Awkward as I couldn't put it BACK, so let's just hope the owner isn't too confused about their house going missing.

Yeah, I mean the in-game ones too. The gif selection to emphasize the point didn't yield anything fitting. The pre-rendered ones are always masterpieces. The in-game cinematics are where they've kind of been slipping.
