i agree that there's a whole subset of people who consume essays wholesale and maybe watch like, five anime and think they're an expert on a topic without doing any actual research or wanting to pay homage to what otaku have achieved or said about any given genre

i'm starting to see why rgg 3 is a major point of contention in the series. why did they just summarize all the missing plot beats in 20 minutes worth of cutscenes that were them essentially forcing me into dialogue choices to learn it all... don't like that
