Thank you! I used dirty downs verdigris but it seemed to be a bit less consistent. Even after a stir and shaking like crazy. So it seems more mottled than I wanted.

Thank you! The weapons are a little oversized I feel but that goes with how 2nd edition had large heavy weapons and shoulder toted them. They’re my Iron Hands so my head cannon is after Istvaan they stripped the auto cannons off of vehicles to make them infantry portable.

I printed some MK 6 and the second pic is next to one from the HH box for 2nd edition. Chunkier but totally in line with how 2nd edition and Rogue Trader looked.

I think I like the older marines more because of nostalgia. I got into the hobby around 2nd edition and I like the look of chunky marines. So much so that I 3D print 15mm ones up to 30mm scale to reproduce the look.
