THIS SATURDAY, I am teaming up with @thistle-nightshade.bsky.social for our first SUMMER READING SHINDIG!! This event is for kids, tweens, and teens, and is absolutely free!

Several local authors will be there, and I'm lucky enough to be featured with THE GLADE! Come hang from 10-1 on Saturday!!

Well, well, well, what's this? A panel at this weekend's Bay Area Book Fest, you say? It's true!! Catch my dork ass and four superstar colleagues of color—Zetta Elliot, Gloria Huang, Avione Lee, and Sistah Scifi founder Isis Asare —talking about the worlds on our pages and in our heads!

Yesterday was release day for THE GLADE!! I'm so proud of this book and so happy it'll be in the hands of kids. I hope the ones who need it find it.
