I'm a Fall of Civilizations @fallofcivspod.bsky.social voice actor! In fact, I deliver the first and last readings you'll hear during The Mongols: Terror of the Steppe. I'm unbelievably chuffed to be part of one of my favourite podcasts. Huge thanks to @paulmmcooper.bsky.social for giving me a shot!
Here's the second part of my interview on in-game radio in The Outer Worlds 2, this time looking at the genre stylings behind each of the three stations. www.restart.run/articles/the...

Hey I reviewed Kirby Air Riders! The more time I spent with it, the more I appreciated just how oddball it is for a racing game. As much a toy as a game. Feels very strange to be playing it more than 20 years after enjoying the original as a dorky teenager. www.restart.run/articles/kir...

I have to thank @cjpt.bsky.social for putting up with my initial blundering questions as a beginner, and I owe @danshoehsu.bsky.social an entire Great British Bake Off season's worth of thank you cakes for repeatedly pushing me to improve my intros and teaching me so many other tricks
By the way, it's National Editor Appreciation Day.

Nobody ever reads a great article and thinks, "Dang, that was some tight editing." But editing is a big part of how it got to be great.

So writers, if you've ever worked with a good editor, shout 'em out.

Lex's review is a far more engaging, action-packed affair than anything I've encountered in the campaign thus far.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a soulless and soul-destroying game that thinks exceptionally little of its players and developers.

My one-star review for @restart.run:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is an underwhelming, frustrating experience, even at its best.

Very proud to have once again provided VO for this wonderful series (even if I havent yet had time to listen to all 5 and a half hours!)

With this as well as Persian Fire and Persians: Age of the Great Kings on my bookshelf, the end of the year is looking rather Archaemenid heavy 😅
⛰️🏔️ Episode 20 is now live! 🏔️⛰️

In this episode, we look at the amazing story of the Achaemenid Persian Empire.

Find out how the world's largest empire rose, flourished, and finally fell in ash and flame.

There's an inherent eerieness to a vacant yet clearly occupied space. Gone Home triggered this a touch back in the day, but Blue Prince leans more with its narrative and the question of what, exactly, lies beyond each new door. That said, the greenhouse was lovely.
