Ryan Grim: I think the posse will find a lot useful there.

Steve Bannon: You’re an intrepid reporter, sir, and a voice of truth. Sometimes people love it and sometimes people love it less, but you’re you’re a warrior.

Grim: No doubt about it.

Ugh - @ryangrim.bsky.social playing footsies with Steve Bannon.

I considered Grim a friend for many years but increasingly he’s been seeking validation from the right

I recommend everyone stop watching oligarchy media.
People are doing boycotts of Amazon and Target and so on. What would really help is to BOYCOTT THE OLIGARCHY MEDIA:
@ABC @CBSNews @NBCNews @CNN @nytimes @WSJ @wapo
Watch YouTubers like Brian Tyler Cohen, David Pakman, Michael Popok and others.

I’m waiting for a slew of these headlines from the @nytimes.com about Trump being too old. Like, dozens of them. Oh, and a book from @jaketapper.bsky.social. Any day now…

Narrator:

Because the far left and the GOP are the same,

Doubt be? Google Chris Murphy or Bernie Sanders and "Identity Politics" abandoned for "economic populism."

Or just recall last week their love fest for the racist with the literal SS tattoo.
All I see on Blue is..

"Tear down the Democratic Party."

No one is saying "Tear down the party that has ushered in Christofascism with their Project25 agenda, who has starved children domestic and abroad, who is kidnapping people, who has made life in the US unaffordable."

I guess the GOP is ok.

What's funny is we had the opportunity to vote for "every individual issue is negotiable rightwards but it won't actively be the fascist apocalypse" in 2016, 2020, and 2024, and it won by a squeaker in just one of those, but this type of pundit thinks it's never been correctly tried, somehow.

There are WAY too many folks who have center right ideas at best but want to see the system shaken up so they go for Bernie, Gabbard, RFK Jr, etc with no concern about their politics while claiming a "progressive" label.

Which is a meaningless term btw. But it helps centrists call them "far left"

You know, in principle, I agree with China cracking down on unqualified influencers

But in practice I know how China deals with its disabled and/or neurodiverse people, and it’s even worse than in Europe and the West

I can't stand Murphy or Bernie & it's MAGA-level pathetic to try to justify him having a tattoo of the same insignia that the SS who guarded the concentration & death camps used.
"Working class" Jewish & Black people won't stand for that shit, but of course, that's not who they're referring to.

I was a Bernie supporter at the start of the 2016 primary. I followed his campaign and attended a few rallies. I was not a supporter by the end of the 2016 primary, for exactly this reason.

Another top campaign person resigns from Platner campaign. This raises the question of who exactly IS running this multi million dollar campaign?

so this is obviously silly, no one who could reasonably be called "far-left" is defending Platner. but assuming he means the Bernie left, the so called "progressives", he's not wrong. a lot of you fell for Tulsi Gabbard too

Fondly remembering Olivia Nuzzi writing viral conspiracy theory pieces pushing for Joe Biden to drop out of the race while she was having an affair with his opponent RFK Jr.

And her fiancé at Politico Playbook (fired from New Yorker) wrote the anon-sourced 2019 story saying Biden pledged one term.

This business with Platner reminds me: Democrats need to be *very* aware of Trojan-horse candidates, especially if they spring up out of nowhere and run on "outsider" vibes or contrarian populism. The GOP runs a lot of astroturf candidates. Mostly with third parties, but also in our primaries.

Platner was recruited to run by a bunch of Bernie adjacent people because of some video of him they saw from 2020. They wanted to create a populist that people would fan out over while he bashes Dems left and right. This👇 cast of characters should have vetted better. 🧵 👇 bsky.app/profile/maud...
See these 👇 excerpts from the article I posted below in which those ‘cast of characters’ are revealed. The ‘earlier in the Summer’ was obviously when Hogg and others were with him and note how they are picked him to run, from a 2020 video they saw of him. 🙄
