I am struggling with the right words, but I do think it’s important to keep in mind that this is a deeply imaginative community where we’re able to meaningfully express ourselves.

And the current crop of heckling onlookers are so void of imagination they need their own thoughts spoon fed to them.

It's only good if you're already following your own schedule and have a very consistent amount of work to do. You can always switch back to that later if you feel you've got it figured out though!

That's how I do it, I charge after the rough sketch is approved so that they can see progress before making the payment and I get the safety that it's paid before I continue on to more work.

Except for YCH's, those I charge in advance.
