Foggy immediately began to work on setting everything up as Karen began to call Anastasia. Matt, on the other hand, was stressed out because he hurt Ana on a day where all he wanted to do was make her feel perfect. But like all things in his life — it was complicated.

He couldn't tell her why he wanted to catch this man desperately. While he spoke the truth about wanting to defend the innocent, he meant it in both court of law and as the masked vigilante. The devil wanted out, and there wouldn't be a thing or person that would stop him.

Matt already had his keys in his pocket as he slowly followed her to his door. He heard the sounds as well. Each day, he'd wake up and just listen to the city. Even through all the suffering that happened here — Hell's Kitchen was his home. He'd never abandon her.
