i spent a pretty significant chunk of time doing this with one of my local rivers last year! deeply fascinating seeing the way the smaller creeks and bigger rivers split and merged, all the places where they’d thin out to almost nothing or be hidden underground and so on..

yeah! so that’s minoh falls and basically you want to end up at minoh-kayano station (which is the northernmost stop on the midosuji line) and then from there you can get a bus (or just walk) north some more to get to the start of the trail

the thing about life is that sometimes you have to battle the stupid evils of the world but sometimes you instead get to hang out with your friends at the awesome waterfall or the awesome karaoke and that shit is badass and beautiful actually.. so lock in, okay? 🫡
