OSU and Indiana made it look close in the first half and nobody got injured. They should play flag football in the second half and get ready for the playoffs. It’s pointless to finish the game.

BYU and Alabama were humiliated today and neither one of them is the best team in the country.Their reward for playing in the conference championships is that they have a chance to go out on top with a bowl game. $$, extra practice for underclassmen, fans all win. NFL combine players should opt out.

The playoff committee has to eliminate BYU for this. They are not a top 12 team. This is a beat down.

I don’t think the playoffs should be expanded. I do think that the 4 championship games should be treated like playoffs- Make it and you’re “in”. Win, earn a bye. Lose, and you go bowling. Take the next 8 teams based on rankings. Those 4 winners play the conference winners, and so on.

So far, It looks like VT hiring James Franklin is the best new coaching hire. The carousel is going to turn a lot after the playoffs. No head coach with any character would abandon his team during the playoffs, but it does make sense that coordinators would use this time to get head coaching jobs.

This @jaguarsnfl.bsky.social game is great! These guys actually care about winning, playing hard, and defending their teammates. All too often, especially in the pros, you see these players yucking it up and acting like they don’t care who wins and loses. I hope this aggression continues!

Lane Kiffen could have held a press conference last week and said that he’s committed to Ole Miss for the remainder of the season and post season and would not discuss future jobs until his team’s run was over. He did this on purpose to hurt Ole Miss, thus improving LSUs recruiting now.

Just because #FSU said they were retaining Mike Norvell doesn’t mean they can’t fire him in the offseason. Fire the AD, hire a new AD, and the new AD can hire his own guy.

Honest question: Should OSU and Indiana rest their starters next weekend? They are the only 2 undefeated teams. They will be 1-2 as long as the final score is close. Why risk injury? Why show your playbook knowing you might rematch in the Natty? Build depth for next season and let the backups play.

Ohio State has gone wire to wire after winning the Natty. They should opt out of the Big10 championship game and focus on winning another national championship game. Why even put the starters in against Indiana? Why should Indiana play their starters? What’s the point?

What’s best for the players? For Lane Kiffen to honor his contract, honor what he told their families when he recruited them, and for him to coach them up and try to win a national championship. If he quits during the most important part of the season to go to a rival team?

Texas is the 3rd best team in the state of Texas.Texas Tech and SMU are better.They finished the season strong, weren’t good enough to play for a conference championship, did great against their rivals (who also weren’t good enough to play in their championships), and shouldn’t be in the playoffs.
