i had a dream i was playing some dogshit nondescript 2d platformer for some reason. it had a really dark background and the platformers were all wooden with lots of random upward and downward slopes and too many random gaps. the enemies were all mummies and draculas.

I was watching someone beat Super Castlevania IV lastnight - for some reason i always thought that game would be slightly easier than the NES ones but i think the final ascent before the boss gauntlet is one of the most sicko parts ever put into a Castlevania game
