Little Moreton Hall, with its striking timber patterns and leaning angles, captivates many. This #Cheshire house, surrounded by a shimmering moat, is a rare example of a surviving domestic building from the late medieval period, showcasing layers of craftsmanship in every beam and window frame.

Bradford’s Grade I listed Wool Exchange is a striking reminder of the city’s 19th-century wool trade. Designed by Lockwood and Mawson and completed in the 1860s, the building features a dramatic hammer-beam roof, polished granite columns and detailed ironwork. 🧵(1/2)

Step back to the golden age of cinema at Harwich's Electric Palace in Essex. Built in 1911, this Grade II* listed building is one of the UK's oldest cinemas. Designed by Harold Ridley Hooper, it features a striking façade.

Hidden in the landscape gardens of Rousham Park is a C17 dovecote, a Grade II* listed structure retaining its original nesting boxes and potence.

Set within William Kent’s Grade I listed landscape, the stone building is a great example of heritage in Oxfordshire.

Grade I listed St Nicholas' Chapel, King’s Lynn, #Norfolk, retains a remarkable amount of its medieval fabric. Its steeple, originally built in 1500, was rebuilt in 1869 by Sir George Gilbert Scott, according to its listing.

Cadw offers a grant scheme in Wales, providing up to 50% funding (max £250,000) for repairing, conserving, and sustainably reusing historic buildings at risk. The application process has two stages: Stage 1 EOIs are due by 10 December 2025!

Tucked on the corner of Edmund Street and Newhall Street in #Birmingham stands this striking red-brick landmark. Built in 1896 by Frederick Martin of Martin and Chamberlain for the Bell Edison Company, it was once known as the “Bell Edison Telephone Buildings.”

Oken’s House, a Grade II* timber-framed building has been part of Warwick’s story for over 500 years. Once given to the town for charitable use by Thomas Oken, much of its medieval character was restored during the 19th-century.

Today it continues to welcome the community, now as a local tea room.
