The Enforcement Act of 1870 was originally designed to combat the KKK's campaign of violence and intimidation. It made it illegal for two people to mask up and suppress the constitutionally protected freedoms of others.

Local police should investigate it for what it is and make an arrest. Small acts of righteousness in the face of oppression can make a difference.

Tom Homan is not expected to like hearing officers called murderers. But his sole remedy is to not allow officers to murder people.
That would be a difficult task. But it would still be easier than trying to get a court to rule that calling officers murderers somehow constitutes hate speech.

This raises way more questions about why he was walking in circles around the vehicle recording it on a cellphone. Was he planning on posting this online when he got home? It sure as hell wasn't because it was a department policy. WTF!?

Names aren't classified, publishing a government higher-up's name is not "doxxing," and journalists are entitled to publish news, even if it is classified, as long as they don't break the law to get it.

There is no excuse for this. It is murder. The officer was clear of the vehicle before firing the first shot. Fires the second from the side into the driver's open window, and the third is fired from behind into the open driver's window. Don't be gaslit into believing anything else.

It’s a very complicated world, and there’s a lot of grey rather than black or white, so it’s comforting to know with certainty that if Tricia McLaughlin says something you can know, with confidence, it’s false.
DHS's first official statement is out, and they call the woman who was shot a domestic terrorist who they claim was trying to kill an ICE agent.
