You shouldn't *have* to reinstall your programs, if you're just upgrading, vs. fresh installing (I didn't, anyway).
winaerotweaker and openshell can help with appearance and behaviour. christitus.com/windows-tool/ does a lot of privacy cleanup too in addition to some cosmetics (UAYOR).

I absolutely agree that the NDP has moved too far toward the centre, just as the LPC has moved further right. I just meant that i saw her platform and it looked like the NDP's. Do I wish the NDP's was better? Very much.
