A sad day today with the loss of one of Australia’s iconic LGBTQIA+ businesses. This little shop was instrumental to my coming out and growing into my queer identity. Gay bookstores are more than shops, they are community hubs. A real loss.

I once had a GM mansplain (incorrectly) our own software architecture to me. When I (politely) interrupted to make a correction, he said: I'm sorry, this is more of a one-way conversation. If I ever manage to retire, I think "One-Way Conversations" will be the title of my career reflections.
