A stunning painting of the AKIRA SOL laser by Ohrai Noriyoshi, as collected in the catalog art book for his 2018 exhibition held in Ueno. Sadly it is not widely available. I found this mint new copy languishing in a BookOff store and snagged it ofc. My review coming soon.

This new edition of Steamboy Storyboards Vol 1 ( Otomo Complete Works ) is a most splendid showcase of the incredibly detailed storyboard drawings by the AKIRA director and a worthy upgrade from the older 2004 edition. Very highly recommended - halcyonrealms.com/books/steamb...
