Awful #Habs injury news this morning: Kaiden Guhle will be out 4-6 weeks with a lower body injury.
Kirby Dach and Patrik Laine both will not play tonight due to lower body injuries as well but in their case they're considered "day-to-day"

Canadiens have gone to a Struble-Hutson pairing here in the second. In their limited minutes last season, Struble-Hutson had some of the best underlying numbers in the league as a pair.

I would have been impressed if #Habs got Lane Hutson to sign for anything less than $11M/yr. But to be sub $9M!?

The team is clearly committed to the big picture. It started with Suzuki, Caufield & Slaf leaving money on the table.
